Support for research - UWIN Best Paper Award

Welcome to UniCredit & Universities!

UniCredit & Universities Foundation in cooperation with UniCredit Women’s International Network (UWIN), launches the third edition of the competition UWIN Best Paper Award, aimed at all young economists and researchers from the 22 countries belonging to the geographical area of UniCredit.

The prizes will be awarded to two outstanding papers on Gender Economics. The two best papers will receive €5,000 gross each and will be published in the Working Paper series of the Foundation.

The competition is open to all young researchers from UniCredit perimeter who meet the following requirements:

1. be either citizens of all 22 countries where UniCredit is present or currently employed or enrolled in a Ph.D. program at a university or institution located in any of these 22 countries within the geographical area of UniCredit
2. be born after 1977

Papers as well as all the accompanying documents must be written in English and must be submitted in PDF format using the application online. Submission deadline is 30 April 2013.

The selection process will be conducted by an ad-hoc commission comprising external experts/academic representatives (please refer to the announcement for details on the composition of the committee) appointed by the Foundation’s Scientific Committee. Winners will be notified by 31 May 2013.
