Welcome to UniCredit & Universities!

According to article 2 of the Foundation’s Statute, one of the main purposes of the Foundation is to promote studies and initiatives designed to deepen knowledge in academic finance and economics by granting scholarships and establishing awards.

Since 2009 UniCredit & Universities has been supporting a new initiative with the University of Trieste - Faculty of Economics, co-financing two bachelor courses entirely taught in English, respectively the “Economics and Management of Innovation” course and the “Economics of Financial and Insurance Markets” course. In addition, in 2009 the Foundation has launched the first edition of  the UniCredit & Universities Best Paper Award  an initiative open to all the UniCredit Group employees around the world. The winners were awarded on June 14, 2010, while the call of the 2^ edition will be open by the end of July.

In 2010, UniCredit & Universities financed 4 scholarships for the Summer School 2010 CARIM (Consortium for Applied Research on International Migration) at the Migration Policy Centre of the Schuman Centre - European University Institute in Florence, which ended on July 2, 2010.

On July 22, 2010, will close the call for 6 scholarships (fully funded by the Foundation) to attend two Master programmes, entirely taught in English, organised by the LUISS School of Government.

Moreover, UniCredit & Universities has just launched the first competition for 6 CEE Best PhD Thesis Award aimed at all young PhD graduates from the 19 Eastern European countries belonging to the geographical scope of our Group (Group geography except from Italy, Austria and Germany).
