18 June 2015 - The 5th UWIN Best Paper Award on Gender Economics is now closed. The competition aimed at all young economists and researchers from the 17 countries belonging to the geographical area of UniCredit.

The two winning papers of the 5th edition are:

-“Women's Inheritance Rights and Bargaining Power: Evidence from Kenya” by Maria Flavia Harari

- “Do financial incentives affect fertility – Evidence from a reform in maternity leave benefits” by Anna Raute

The two best papers will receive €5,000 gross each and will be published in the Working Paper series of the Foundation.
The selection process was conducted by an ad-hoc commission comprising external experts/academic representatives appointed by the Foundation’s Scientific Committee.
