FOUNDATION

Welcome to UniCredit & Universities!

Since 2009, UniCredit & Universities Knight of Labor Ugo Foscolo Foundation has been in full operation. The Foundation aims to promote studies and initiatives designed to deepen knowledge in the academic fields of finance, economics, law, politics and the social sciences and to grant one or more academic scholarships per year in the same fields.

The Foundation continues the activities of the former Fondazione Cavaliere del Lavoro Ugo Foscolo già presidente del Banco di Roma, established in 1966, widening its scope and adapting its operating procedures to the needs of the third millennium. On 18 July 2012, UniCredit & Universities also signed a collaboration agreement with the Marco Fanno Association, whose main purpose is to continue the long-standing tradition of supporting the best students, and launching fellowships named after one of the foremost Italian economist of the twentieth century.

UniCredit & Universities Foundation aims to provide annual scholarships and fellowships and to promote specialization abroad of the best European talents in the fields of economics, banking and finance.

Its European character is the most striking aspect of the Foundation’s activities. Through its support for study and research, the Foundation fully reflects the impressive geographic and cultural diversity of UniCredit, which fully funds and, through its values, also inspires the Foundation’s daily work.
